If you're a Professional Speaker, Thought Leader, Founder, CEO, Team Leader, Ideas Man/Woman, pretty much anyone and everyone who gets up on a stage to speak, the biggest mistake you can make is not filming your talk.

Personal branding is critical for everyone today. As the world continues to transform into the gig economy, we need to make the most of ever opportunity and position ourselves for future work. 

Even if you're not planning on being a speaker, it's just a 'one-off' gig, do it! You'll be kicking yourself otherwise. You never know when you're going to change your mind. After all getting paid to share your knowledge and impact the lives of thousands is a pretty great way to earn a living.

Only problem is you didn't film it and two months down the track, you meet an event organiser. They think you'd be great for an event coming up, but they need to show their boss who you are and what you about.

They need to be able to trust that you're going to be able to deliver a powerful message. They need to be able to trust that you're going to make them look good. Social proof is not only vital, it's incredibly powerful in winning hearts and minds. 

Every speaking gig not filmed is an opportunity missed.
